A country as a bridge

Egypt is a multicultural country extending from the vast Sahara Desert to the East – nesting at its very heart one of the biggest arteries in the world, The Nile - to the magical land of the prophets, Sinai, to the West and extending to the south until the millenarian lands of the Nubian people.The Key of Life, an old Pharaonic symbol found in many temples across Egypt, represents among other things, this juncture between East and West with the Nile, the little arch carved at its top represents the Delta. But no matter which direction we choose to take in Egypt, we will always end up coming across a face full of tradition and experience, even if tradition is slowly but surely fading away due to the voracity of the current political/world situation. On this mini project I wanted to show some moments that I lived in different spaces around Egypt, in places like Alexandra, Cairo, Siwa and Luxor.
